Baseball Recap: Patton Comes Up Short

Patton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Ashe County Huskies.

Patton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Hullette, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Jonah Devine also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Patton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Ashe County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-11.

Looking ahead, Patton will be playing in front of their home fans against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ashe County, they will take on East Burke at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
