Cameron Oakley posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out five batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Even though Oakley couldn't lead Ashland over Crater, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 76 places lower in Oregon), but they're not letting that get them down.
