Softball Recap: Eminence Takes a Loss

After flying high against Providence Cristo Rey on Monday, Eminence came back down to earth. The Eels came up short against the Living Water Homeschool Marlins on Wednesday, falling 13-2. The Eels have struggled against the Marlins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Eminence saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jillian Henderson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Eminence's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Living Water Homeschool, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Coming up, Eminence will square off against Eastern Greene at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Thunderbirds have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Living Water Homeschool, they have already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Mishawaka Marian on the 17th.
