Football Game Recap: Gahr vs. Warren

You can't lose the matchup if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Warren's strategy against Gahr on Friday. Warren put the hurt on Gahr with a sharp 46-14 victory. Followers of Warren probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

Warren got off to a slow start in their contest last Friday against Paramount, but they had no such trouble against Gahr as they cruised to a 18-point first half. Meanwhile, Gahr couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 18-0 heading into the break. Warren's offense just added to that total in the second half en route to their big win.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Warren take on Downey at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. Gahr will be playing at home against Paramount at at 7:00 PM. Paramount are cruising in on a three-game winning streak.
