Volleyball Recap: Delphi Community Comes Up Short

Delphi Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the North White Vikings, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Oracles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-8.

Natalie Gonzalez paced Delphi Community's offense, picking up four kills. Gonzalez got some help from Abby Brown and her four assists.

Leading North White to victory were Emma Jacobsma and Adriann Conn. Jacobsma had six digs and two aces, while Conn had five digs. What's more, Jacobsma racked up 15 assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Delphi Community's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for North White, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Coming up, Delphi Community will take on Clinton Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North White, they will challenge South Newton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
