Basketball Recap: South Rowan Takes a Loss

South Rowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 32nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Central Cabarrus Vikings, falling 66-24. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

South Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Central Cabarrus, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

South Rowan will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Central Cabarrus and Queen's Grant will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
