Softball Preview: Kenton Wildcats vs. Memorial Roughriders
The Kenton Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Memorial Roughriders at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Friday, Kenton needed a bit of extra time to put away Wapakoneta. They had just enough and edged the Redskins out 5-4. That's two games straight that Kenton has won by just one run.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Memorial's offense. They lost 9-0 to Coldwater on Monday.
Memorial saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Weigel, who went 1-for-2 with a double.
Kenton's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1.
