Softball Recap: St. Joseph Takes a Loss

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, St. Joseph was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 12-1 to the Cutter-Morning Star Eagles.

St. Joseph has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Cutter-Morning Star's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

St. Joseph will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Danville at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. St. Joseph is facing Danville at the right time seeing as Danville is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Cutter-Morning Star, they have already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Lake Hamilton on the 21st.
