Volleyball Recap: Mojave Has No Trouble Against Somerset Academy Losee

Mojave not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 29th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Somerset Academy Losee Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rattlers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

While Mojave won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Somerset Academy Losee still got an impressive performance from Ava Jones-Deleon, who had ten assists and four aces. Jones-Deleon is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Mojave's victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Mojave and Cimarron-Memorial will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Somerset Academy Losee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
