Preview: Baptist Hill vs. Burke
Burke will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Baptist Hill at Burke High School at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-41, which was the final score in Burke's tilt against First Baptist School last Friday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, Baptist Hill fought the good fight in their overtime contest last week but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. Baptist Hill weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 6-12 to Garrett Academy Tech.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous match, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
