Volleyball Recap: St. Stephens Takes a Loss

St. Stephens came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Maiden Blue Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Indians have suffered against the Blue Devils since August 23, 2016.

While St. Stephens was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 25-21.

St. Stephens' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Maiden, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Stephens will face off against Newton-Conover at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Maiden, they will square off against Bandys at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
