Basketball Recap: Southern Missouri RUSH Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Ash Grove typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Southern Missouri RUSH proved too difficult a challenge. They strolled past the Ash Grove Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 53-37. Given Southern Missouri RUSH's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while Ash Grove is ranked 341st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southern Missouri RUSH pushed their record up to 21-10 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Ash Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.
