Basketball Recap: Tri County Area Comes Up Short

Tri County Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 69-51 fall against the Kent City Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 527th, while the Eagles are ranked 144th).

Tri County Area's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Kent City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri County Area will take on Chippewa Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kent City, they will challenge White Cloud at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
