There's no place like home for Tarboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the North Edgecombe Warriors on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

While Tarboro won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-13, 25-21.

Tarboro's victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for North Edgecombe, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tarboro will square off against North East Carolina Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Edgecombe, they will challenge Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
