Lutheran North's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Divine Child Falcons an 8-0 shutout. Considering the Mustangs have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mikenna Campisi was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Addison Wodowski was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one double.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Lutheran North lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Lutheran North's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Divine Child, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Lutheran North will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair will be back at it again later today.
