After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Montgomery Central, Jordan-Matthews was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The contest marked the Jets' most dominant win of the season so far.

Jordan-Matthews' victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Bartlett Yancey, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan-Matthews will host Eastern Randolph at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jordan-Matthews is facing Eastern Randolph at the right time seeing as Eastern Randolph is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Bartlett Yancey, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Clover Garden School at 5:00 p.m. Bartlett Yancey has given up an average of 15 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
