Lamar Consolidated fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Fort Bend Kempner Cougars. Two seems to be a good number for the Mustangs as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Jaime Reyes was the driving force of Lamar Consolidated's attack as he scored both of Lamar Consolidated's goals, bringing his season total up to 19 goals.

Lamar Consolidated now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Fort Bend Kempner, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
