Football Game Preview: Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders vs. Tyrone Golden Eagles + How To Watch

The Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders will face off against the Tyrone Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Bishop Guilfoyle 13.4, Tyrone 14.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

Bishop Guilfoyle is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Central 49-7. The win was familiar territory for the Marauders, who have now won three contests in a row.

Bishop Guilfoyle found their leader in sophomore Justin Wheeler, who rushed for 97 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 165 yards and one TD. Wheeler also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception. Another player making a difference was Keegan Hewitt, who rushed for 60 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Meanwhile, Tyrone unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. The matchup between the Golden Eagles and Bellwood-Antis didn't end well, with the Golden Eagles falling 26-7. The game marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bishop Guilfoyle's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tyrone, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
