Baseball Recap: Gainesville Comes Up Short

Gainesville and Panther Creek squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Gainesville had to settle for second. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 10-0. The Leopards just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Gainesville's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Panther Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Gainesville nor Panther Creek have any future games scheduled.
