Volleyball Recap: Saugerties Gets the Win + How To Watch

Saugerties barely beat Roosevelt the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Sawyers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Presidents on Thursday. The Sawyers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Presidents, too.

While Saugerties might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Roosevelt scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-22.

Saugerties' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Roosevelt, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Saugerties and Our Lady of Lourdes will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roosevelt, they will head out to square off against Red Hook at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
