Volleyball Recap: AGWSR Comes Up Short

If AGWSR was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Collins-Maxwell on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars came up short against the St. Edmond Gaels on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gaels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

AGWSR has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 18 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-28-1 record this season. As for St. Edmond, with the win, they broke their seven-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-11.

As of now, neither AGWSR nor the Gaels have any future games scheduled.
