After flying high against Sharyland last Friday, Calhoun came back down to earth. Calhoun took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boerne-Champion. Calhoun's defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

The Sandcrabs' overall record now falls to 9-3. The victory was the eighth in a row for Boerne-Champion and raised their record to 11-1.

Calhoun's playoff loss brings an end to their season. As for Boerne-Champion, they will face off against Pioneer in a playoff contest next week.
