Volleyball Game Preview: Covenant Day Lions vs. Kingdom Leadership Academy Chargers

The Covenant Day Lions are taking a road trip to face off against the Kingdom Leadership Academy Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kingdom Leadership Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Covenant Day, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Covenant Day made easy work of Sun Valley and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-17.

Covenant Day relied on the efforts of Jack Lapp, who had five aces and three digs, and Ben Keefer, who had four digs and one block. The dominant performance also gave Keefer a new career-high in kills (three).

Meanwhile, Kingdom Leadership Academy came up short against Metrolina Christian Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-10, 25-15.

Kingdom Leadership Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Covenant Day, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
