Volleyball Recap: Midland Bulldogs vs. San Angelo Central Bobcats
It was a good run, but Midland unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Angelo Central Bobcats. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Midland started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-20.
Midland's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-17. As for San Angelo Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 27-4.
