Baseball Recap: Lincoln-Way East Falls Short Against Ranked Zionsville

Lincoln-Way East is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Zionsville. The Griffins lost 8-0 to the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Griffins have suffered since April 11th.

This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln-Way East and nudges their season record down to 21-6. As for Zionsville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-6.

Coming up, Lincoln-Way East will challenge Lockport at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Zionsville, they will square off against Andrean at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
