Football Game Preview: Pocahontas Indians vs. South Hamilton Hawks

The Pocahontas Indians will square off against the South Hamilton Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Pocahontas' offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Northwest Webster on Friday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 21-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, South Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 41-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Sac County. On the bright side, the 30- point effort marked the Hawks' highest-scoring matchup to date.

South Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pocahontas, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
