Fans were treated to a battle of the Falcons on Monday. Firebaugh came up short against Duarte, falling 5-2. Firebaugh has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Whittier managed to keep up with Artesia until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cardinals lost 6-0 to the Pioneers.

Firebaugh now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Whittier, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
