Football Recap: Harford Tech Takes a Loss

The Harford Tech Cobras ended up a good deal behind the Fallston Cougars on Friday and lost 32-14.

Fallston got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Michael Griffin out in front who rushed for 171 yards and one TD on only 14 carries, and also threw for 104 yards and a pair of touchdowns. With that strong performance, Griffin is now averaging an impressive 110.6 rushing yards per game. Abi Archibong was another key rusher, rushing for 216 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.4 yards per carry.

Harford Tech dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Fallston, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Harford Tech didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-0 defeat against C. Milton Wright on the 10th. As for Fallston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 21-15 victory against Bel Air on the 10th.
