Baseball Recap: Waynesville Comes Up Short

Waynesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 10-0 to Ozark.

Waynesville got a good showing from Riley Dunkel, who tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Dunkel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

Waynesville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Ozark, they pushed their record up to 18-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Waynesville will face off against Capital City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ozark does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
