Soccer Recap: North Salinas Comes Up Short

North Salinas lost against Everett Alvarez back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The North Salinas Vikings lost 3-0 to the Everett Alvarez Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 602nd, while the Eagles are ranked 33rd).

North Salinas dropped their record down to 4-8-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Everett Alvarez, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Salinas will challenge Greenfield at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Everett Alvarez, they will take on Monterey at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
