After a string of five wins, Northwest's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the Canton South Wildcats, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Canton South this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Northwest's goal came courtesy of Colin Harris, who's now up to 12 this season.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 10-2-1. As for Canton South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 9-1-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northwest will face off against rival Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Canton South is set to challenge their familiar foe Orrville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
