Volleyball Recap: Golden View Classical Academy Triumphs + How To Watch

Golden View Classical Academy won the last time they faced Twin Peaks Classical Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sentinels came out on top against the Timberwolves by a score of 3-1.

Golden View Classical Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 10-25, 25-9, 25-15, 25-20.

Samantha Duren paced Golden View Classical Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Duren got some help from Abigail Fresquez and her 12 assists. Fresquez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Despite the defeat, Twin Peaks Classical Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ari Esch had 36 digs. Those 36 digs set a new season-high mark for Esch. Katie Fuller also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
