Softball Preview: New Summerfield Hornets vs. Mt. Enterprise Wildcats

For the second straight game, New Summerfield will face off against Mt. Enterprise. The Hornets will square off against the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Summerfield comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

New Summerfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They lost 23-9 to Mt. Enterprise on Tuesday.

For Mt. Enterprise's part, Chasity Garcia made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Garcia has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 4-for-5.
