Hersey is a perfect 8-0 against Schaumburg since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Huskies will host the Saxons at 6:45 p.m. Hersey's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hersey fell victim to Hinsdale Central and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Schaumburg won against Rolling Meadows on Wednesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. The Saxons skirted past Prospect 2-1. Alexis Almli had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Schaumburg.

Hersey's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-2. As for Schaumburg, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3-2.

Hersey came out on top in a nail-biter against Schaumburg in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Saxons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
