Soccer Recap: Milan Takes a Loss

Milan managed to keep up with Rising Sun until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Indians lost 3-0 to the Shiners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Rising Sun this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in September.

This is the second loss in a row for Milan and nudges their season record down to 3-11-1. As for Rising Sun, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5-2.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Milan will challenge Union City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rising Sun, they will take on Oldenburg Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Oldenburg Academy's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
