Irving and Martin squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Irving had to settle for second. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 18-3. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Irving saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shantia Haymer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Irving's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14-1. As for Martin, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Irving nor Martin have any future games scheduled.
