Coolidge entered their tilt with Banneker on Tuesday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Banneker Bulldogs with a sharp 59-38 victory. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 games by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Coolidge to victory were Josslyn Derricott and Marshea Fisher. Derricott dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds, while Fisher posted 12 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. Derricott has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times she's played. Kahmya Dixon was another key player, putting up ten points and five steals.

Coolidge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 14 consecutive matches.

Banneker's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Imani Diallo, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rainelle McNeil, who put up ten points along with seven boards and four steals.

Coolidge pushed their record up to 26-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.2 points. As for Banneker, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-6 record this season.

Coolidge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-46 victory against Eastern on the 20th. As for Banneker, they will welcome Woodson at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
