Basketball Recap: Barlow Comes Up Short

Barlow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 43-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jesuit Crusaders. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 61-50 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jesuit's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amani Lubrano, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Reese Filkins, who scored seven points and 11 rebounds.

Barlow's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jesuit, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Barlow is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Southridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jesuit, they will welcome Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
