Cornwall Central is a perfect 10-0 against Monticello since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Dragons will host the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Monticello took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cornwall Central, who comes in off a win.

Cornwall Central had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Kingston on Friday. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Tigers. The Dragons not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8th (when they won 15-0).

Meanwhile, Monticello fell victim to Goshen Central and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Gladiators, falling 17-0. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Cornwall Central, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything went Cornwall Central's way against Monticello when the teams last played back in April, as Cornwall Central made off with a 15-0 victory. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
