Softball Recap: Southlake Carroll Takes a Loss

Southlake Carroll and Mansfield Legacy squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Southlake Carroll had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-2 to the Broncos, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost three in a row.

Southlake Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Mansfield Legacy, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Southlake Carroll beat the Broncos by a score of 11-4 later that day.
