Basketball Game Preview: Lincolnton Wolves vs. West Caldwell Warriors

The Lincolnton Wolves will face off against the West Caldwell Warriors at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lincolnton is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Bandys on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Lincolnton was dealt a 72-44 loss at the hands of Bandys. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, West Caldwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by Maiden 60-26. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-6.

West Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Lincolnton, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Lincolnton was able to grind out a solid victory over West Caldwell in their previous matchup back in January, winning 38-29. Does Lincolnton have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Caldwell turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
