Basketball Recap: Duke Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Duke and Calumet squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Duke had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Calumet Chieftains and fell 71-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since March 1, 2024.

Duke's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Calumet, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

While Duke had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
