Volleyball Recap: Creekview Comes Up Short

Creekview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Lone Star Rangers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18, 25-9.

Saniyah Robinson paced Creekview's offense, picking up four kills. Robinson got some help from Kennedy Allen and her nine assists. Finally, Ryan Fisk kept Creekview's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Lone Star was led to victory by Tilah Perez and Aeda Ra. Perez had 25 digs and one assist, while Ra had six aces and five digs. Those six aces gave Ra a new career-high.

Creekview's record is now 9-24. As for Lone Star, they pushed their record up to 17-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Creekview will square off against rival Turner at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lone Star is set to face off against their familiar foe Reedy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
