The First Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Bishop Moore Hornets. Surprisingly, this marked the sixth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Tyler Arafet tossed a big game, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Roy Rodriguez, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Blake Fields was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

The First Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop Moore didn't launched any home runs.

The First Academy's record is now 20-4. As for Bishop Moore, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.

The First Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Moore, they have already played their next matchup, a 13-1 win against Windermere Prep on the 11th.
