Soccer Recap: Half Moon Bay Comes Up Short

Half Moon Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the San Mateo Bearcats. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bearcats earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Half Moon Bay's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for San Mateo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Half Moon Bay will face off against Jefferson at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for San Mateo, they will welcome Mills at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
