Volleyball Recap: Otto-Eldred Comes Up Short

Otto-Eldred lost against West Branch back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Terrors fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

While Otto-Eldred was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23.

Rayel Hakes paced Otto-Eldred's offense, picking up eight kills. Hakes got some help from Emma Button and her 11 assists.

Otto-Eldred's defeat dropped their record down to 20-5-1. As for West Branch, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 31-2-3.

West Branch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Redbank Valley on the 18th. Hopefully Otto-Eldred paid attention to the Warriors' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
