Football Recap: Dumas' Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Borger last Friday, Dumas came back down to earth. The Demons fell 40-35 to the Canadian Wildcats on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Demons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Wildcats are ranked 132nd).

Having lost for the first time this season, Dumas fell to 2-1. As for Canadian, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Dumas will welcome Plainview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Canadian, they will head out on the road to square off against Muleshoe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
