Basketball Game Preview: Moline Maroons vs. MacArthur Generals

The Moline Maroons will square off against the MacArthur Generals at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Moline's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matches.

Moline is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Rock Island, who was ranked 20th at the time (Moline was ranked 25th). Moline walked away with a 59-50 victory over Rock Island on Friday.

Meanwhile, MacArthur entered their tilt with Jacksonville on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Crimsons 64-46.

MacArthur is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Moline, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4.
