Softball Recap: Ray Bearcats vs. Miami Vandals
Ray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 15-11 to the Miami Vandals. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vandals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2016.
Kaylee Servant and Krishel Sims did some serious damage despite the final result: Servant scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Sims scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Those two runs gave Sims a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dominique Martinez, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
