Volleyball Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northwest Whitfield Bruins. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Mariah Evans paced Heritage's offense, picking up seven kills. Evans got some help from Madison Sertel and her 20 assists. Addy Kissner controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Northwest Whitfield, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Heritage will take on North Gwinnett at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Northwest Whitfield, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Calhoun on the 21st.
